June 14, 2022 Love For His People ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina USA
Greetings to my family and friends of Love For His People.
I had a dream. I am sure you may have heard that from others lately. But when you have a dream, do you consider it as from the Lord? Maybe you should!
I share my dream that the Lord gave me this morning, June 14, 2022, as I slept here in my good old bed in Charlotte, North Carolina. Read below, and be encouraged too.
Ahava and shalom,
Love For His People ministry
P.S. I ask you to pray for my upcoming surgery on June 20, 2022. A bit of removal from within. Thanks!
God Speaks Prophetically To Us. Listen to Him.
“It will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. “Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” Joel 2:28-29, NASU
When the Lord Jesus (Yeshua) gives you a specific dream to do a specific action at a specific time, I for one pay attention.
And thus, He did.
On the morning of June 14, 2022, I dreamt of giving a specific person the $950 our ministry Love For His People had “stashed away for a rainy day”. In fact, I was saving it to use for our next trip to Israel in September 2022 to give extra to those families whom we monthly support in the Land. A righteous act I would say.
In the dream, I asked the Lord to wake me up at 4:00 am as “another sign” that it was Him giving me the dream.
So, He did.
I got up, went to the cash location, pulled out the envelope to take it to the bank that morning for deposit, and sent the Zelle funds to the persons. I believe the Lord wanted to bless their family for the wonderful actions they did in May 2022 in personal obedience to the Lord and His calling on their lives. To encourage them. As He just did for me as I obeyed His rhema word.
You too may have had dreams, visions, and supernatural acts of the Lord that you know are from Him. At first, we are tempted to question these methods that He communicates to us, in joy I strongly believe, as He leads us on into His plans and purposes. I encourage you to act on them. Do not dismiss them as from the “pizza you ate for supper” or just another thought that came into your head. Quite often these are from the Lord, wanting to direct your steps, and lead you in the way you are to go.
We should not be at all surprised as to how our God chooses to speak to His people. After all, He is God, is He not? He can do whatever He chooses to do. He really does not need our coaching or hints as to how He can or should speak to us.
As for me and my house, we love it! Because we love Him!
On June 14, 2016, exactly six years ago, the Lord gave me the following message that I shared publicly in my series, “Now Think On This”. Check this out.
Inquire of the Lord Lately?
“David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this band? Shall I overtake them?” And He said to him, “Pursue, for you will surely overtake them, and you will surely rescue all.”(I Samuel 30:8-9 NASU)
In my daily Bible reading, I have been appreciating the life of David, and how there is so much for us to be encouraged by how he did it. Even in those times when David was being chased by King Saul, who was out to kill him, David was learning to communicate with the Lord. Getting the basics down would be instrumental in his entire walk, as he himself went on to become the anointed king of Israel.
When I consider my own walk with the Lord, I appreciate the times when I inquire of the Lord, to ask Him what His plan is, what He would want me to do, or how I should consider that situation before me. When I do seek Him, He does respond. In His time and place, which all the time is at the exact time needed.
Even a simple ask, like “What now, Lord?” will bring a response from Him. It may come in the form of a word from a friend or family member. He may choose to give us a dream. A specific word can come through the prophetic gift being exercised, speaking into our need through another that we may not even know. Or He may direct you to a Bible passage, enlightening a written Scripture in your own daily reading that speaks to your spirit.
Having that relationship with the Lord, of simple communication, shouldn’t be an odd thing. Nor should communicating with Him be an occasional thought, or only when we get in desperate situations. If we make it one of our foundational stones, to know His voice, it will be a natural thing to ask, listen, hear, and respond accordingly. The Holy Spirit after all was promised to us to be as our Helper, given to abide with us always.
I can recall times when I felt I didn’t need to inquire of the Lord. After all, I was old enough to know what to do, right? And yes, at a later point, it could have saved me a lot of trouble if I had. Lesson learned.
“Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand all.” (Proverbs 28:5, NKJV)
In these times of trouble, it is vital that we are comfortable in asking the Lord His thoughts on subjects, and what His heart is. The voices we hear of the many others giving their opinions can drown out the truth, so we need to be able to discern His voice and abide in His presence.
Have you inquired of the Lord lately? Now may be as good a time as any.
Have a great day walking in the adventure the Lord has in store for you. Seek His face and He will for sure respond. In a dream, a vision, a call from someone out of the blue. Whatever it takes to speak to you, He will do. And then act accordingly in obedience.
The Lord has given us supernatural gifts and means of communication that are essential for these times. Use them!
“But we have gifts that differ and which are meant to be used according to the grace that has been given to us. If your gift is prophecy, use it to the extent of your trust; 7 if it is serving, use it to serve; if you are a teacher, use your gift in teaching; 8 if you are a counselor, use your gift to comfort and exhort; if you are someone who gives, do it simply and generously; if you are in a position of leadership, lead with diligence and zeal; if you are one who does acts of mercy, do them cheerfully.” Romans 12:6-8, Complete Jewish Bible
