The Villa Melchett: One of Israel’s Hidden Treasures

One of the greatest threats facing Israel is the claim that it is illegitimate with no right to exist in the world today. These threats can come from the Islamic Republic of Iran, which seeks to “wipe Israel off the map,” or the so-called BDS Movement, which wants to delegitimize the Jewish State. In the face of all these threats, some hope to restore a place called the “Villa Melchett” on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. It has a storied past of representing the miracle of Israel to world leaders and can once again become a setting to defend Israel’s rightful place among the nations.
