|Dear Friends and Prayer Partners,|
Chag Sameach and may the Fall Feasts be full of joy for you! In Deuteronomy 30:2 and 8, the English translation says “Obey Adonai”, but interestingly the Hebrew says “וְשָׁמַעְתָּ בְּקוֹל יְהוָה – Hear the voice of Adonai.” Our greatest desire is to discern His voice, so when He called us to prayer walk in Little Egypt with other intercessors this summer, we wondered how because we didn’t know anyone in southern Illinois! Yet when we arrived in the area two intercessors from the Global Watch “just happened” to be in the area! So we waited on the L-rd, took communion at the convergence of the mighty Mississippi and Ohio Rivers in Cairo, IL, and then poured the remaining elements into the converging waters, declaring, “Release the manna”. When I asked Adonai why we were supposed to proclaim this, He said because a famine is coming on America.
Afterwards we “just happened” to meet someone who directed us to meet a man in Cairo, so we went and there we found an historian who filled in the gaps so that we could complete our assignment – Hallelujah! I can’t give details on the numerous divine appointments and assignments that many of you graciously prayed for, but suffice it to say that Adonai is quietly calling His people to prepare Goshens, safe places. Goshen means to draw near to G-d. This is exactly what G-d wants and what we need to do in the coming days.

A few of the many TESTIMONIES
We declined assigned seating for our flight to America and let our Master Travel Agent seat us, so I had the joy of sharing Messiah with the young man on my left and with the woman on my right. On the flight home we met a young man who was coming to visit his family in Israel. We had a wonderful exchange with him – please pray for these precious souls to know their Messiah.
Whenever we were invited to restaurants, I would ask our servers, “When the food arrives and we say a blessing, may we pray for you too?” This resulted in either tears of joy and hugs or occasionally an icy stare followed by a new waiter. Never give up!
After a morning meeting we went hiking and two times in a row we met Orthodox Jewish families. In each case I decided to address them in Hebrew, which they spoke fluently so I asked if they were considering Aliyah. They said maybe some day. When I mentioned the urgency of the situation they completely agreed and yet stated that they’re too comfortable in America – Oh Adonai
While driving past Lake Erie, we were led to a small town and walked the pier to the lighthouse. I sensed that our prayers should be directed to a time when Jews would be refugees fleeing from America. A man and his wife stood at the end of the pier and his T-shirt said “Operation Refugee”! So we threw our salt from Israel into the lake and declared clear water – Elisha style!
We really wanted to be home for Rosh HaShana after the LK10 conference, but G-d had other plans. We were invited to dinner with a few people but it quickly became an event with over 50! The cooks were worried there wouldn’t be enough food but Adonai multiplied it beautifully and it was a privilege to co-lead a service to usher in the Feast of Trumpets!
The next day while prayer-walking with friends in their new neighborhood, we realized that one of the leaders of LK10 lived in the area. So on the way to their home to introduce them, we “just happened” to see another friend from the conference who lives there! We love LK10:2 answered prayers and we’re so grateful for how Adonai connects His children for His divine purposes.

I loved reading this Biblical fictional story about Miriam (Mary), a young woman of faith who encountered many challenges and sacrifices to follow her G-d given destiny. It’s like the THE CHOSEN in book form!
Thank you for standing with us and the Tree of Life Israel Media Team, which just hired two more workers in Yeshua’s harvest fields! Please pray for protection and discernment as the many new followers of Yeshua grow in Him. Also the team is searching for a new translator for their German newsletters.
Blessings to you all in Yeshua’s love,
Carolyn and Richard HeartofG-d.org

We write L-rd or G-d or יהוה (a Jewish custom Carolyn grew up with) but it’s all for reverence for the Holy One of Israel. Thank you for understanding.
