The new moon which will begin the 7th month in Yehovah’s calendar and the start of Yom Teruah is expected to be spotted in Israel on Monday, Sept 30th at evening. Here is a link to the Current Hebrew Calendar. The Hebrew Calendar, which I maintain, is updated each spring as soon as we have the evidence of the aviv month.
[Note: The 7th month new moon is expected to be sighted in Israel on Fri., Sept. 18th 2020. This means that Saturday, Sept. 19th will be the first day of the 7th month, Yom Teruah.]
Each month True Israel, Yehovah’s Ezrach men, are commanded to sound their shofars, and the priests their silver trumpets.
“Blow the trumpet [shofar] at the time of the new moon, at the full moon on our solemn feast day. For this is a statute for Israel, a law of the Elohim of Jacob.” (Psa 81:3-4)”
Also in the day of your gladness, in your appointed feasts, and at the beginning of your months, you [Aaron’s seed, the priests] shall blow the trumpets [two silver trumpets] over your burnt offerings [olah] and over the slaughters of your peace offerings [shelemim]; and they shall be a memorial for you before your Elohim: I am Yehovah your Elohim.” (Num 10:10)
Yom Teruah is a day of shouting and alarm to remind men that Yom Kippurim is near. “There are only 10 days left” for the wicked to repent of their wickedness and join themselves to True Israel. Each month throughout the year the reminder, the warning cry, has been blown; “the seventh month is coming and soon it will be too late to repent. Now is the time, seize the moment and repent!”
But getting a correct understanding of Yom Teruah, the Day of Shouting, is essential to our survival in these coming last days. This day is about the raising of the alarm. Nowhere in the scriptures does Yehovah talk about 100 shofar blasts. Yeshua will not come back on this day, or any day for that matter (sorry folks, we have been taught lies). It is not the beginning of the New Year; for heaven’s sake, it is the first day of the seventh month. It is a one day feast, not a two-day feast. So much to learn, so little time. We have many false images in our minds about this day.
