“For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13, NKJV
Weariness. Discouragement. Battles seen. Battles unseen. Overwhelmed by the pressures that try to overtake our life? We need the Lord.
Just a few of these realities can make one cease to strive for goodness, to stop standing in the gap for the lost and the blind, as the enemy of our soul continues to wage war against the Lord and His anointed ones. He presses and pushes on, especially against the Anointed One Himself, the Lord Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach. And this wicked one is trying to take as many with him as he can.
He hates God. He hates the Redeemer and the redeemed. He hates the One Who alone can save, along with those who have been freed from the promise of eternal hell already, who have repented and found forgiveness from sin through the Savior.
But the truth will prevail, even as Scripture says will be the outcome of the evil one and his followers.
“Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.”
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure: “Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.” Psalm 2:1-6, NKJV
The prevailing lawlessness that abounds in our towns, our cities, our nations continues to unfold, spreading its grip on those blinded by years of indoctrination in our “systems of higher learning”, as they attempt to cast off all restraint and godliness. Choosing rather to fill their hearts with destruction, and their minds with contempt, they seek to throw off all that would restraint and contain, as if freedom is attained by having no laws, no regulations, no legal bounds to guard and protect man from destroying himself.
God’s way is the only way. The nations that have risen and fallen have already proven that in centuries gone by. Those who wage war against Him will only end up destroying themselves, while taking many others along with them.
This American nation cast God out of our schools in the 1960s. This American nation removed prayer from being daily spoken in the classroom. Rather than calling on the Name of the Lord, those in power decided that letting kids fend for themselves would bring freedom. Now those grownups rule with no accountability to the One Who holds all the power to judge righteously, or alone gives true freedom. And look where it has gotten us all.
“Who needs God, anyway?” they proclaimed. Then in the 1970s they then also chose to destroy His creation by taking the very lives He gave at conception, falsely proclaiming their “choice” to decide what is life and what isn’t. Seeking to be their own god, they have denied the One Who is.
You reap what you sow. It is Bible. Plain and simple.
Bad seed sown will not produce a good crop, no matter what you say or do. Ask any hard-working farmer. He is not stupid. He has a bit more wisdom than the current ones who now sit in seats of power. But they have been blinded by their own foolishness, seeking to be their own god.
Also ask the One Who sits in the heavens and laughs. (Psalm 2)
We who believe in the Lord, the Living God of Israel, need to call upon His Name even more so now. We need to seek His face for mercy. For me. And thee. From He.(Please excuse the bad grammar, but it is to make a point.)
“Adonai brings to nothing the plans of nations, he foils the plans of the peoples. But the counsel of Adonai stands forever, his heart’s plans are for all generations. How blessed is the nation whose God is Adonai, the people he chose as his heritage!
Adonai looks out from heaven; he sees every human being; from the place where he lives he watches everyone living on earth, he who fashioned the hearts of them all and understands all they do.
A king is not saved by the size of his army, a strong man not delivered by his great strength. To rely on a horse for safety is vain, nor does its great power assure escape.
But Adonai’s eyes watch over those who fear him, over those who wait for his grace to rescue them from death and keep them alive in famine.
We are waiting for Adonai; he is our help and shield. For in him our hearts rejoice, because we trust in his holy name. May your mercy, Adonai, be over us, because we put our hope in you.” Psalm 33:10-22, CJB
Yes, may Your mercy, O Lord, be over us. May Your mercy be that which we put our trust in, coming from You. We must put our hope in You alone. You alone, Jesus (Yeshua) are the hope for all nations. You alone can save.
Now think on this.
