“NEVER FORSAKEN. The continuous working of Holy Spirit in me.” Wane Daroux

Brethen, Peace be unto each one of you.
I am not quite sure why this topic has laid upon me so heavily, but I feel the Lord is talking, to not only me but others too… perhaps even you, beloved…For such a time as this.
Much has transpired lately. From the last 2 or possibly 3 months of 2019, and counting this very day, life as we knew it, has changed…in many ways and it continues to be a journey !
We live in exciting but interesting times…And with “exciting”, I am implying that all of the different developments happening around us simply point to the indications of the Lord’s return. It’s so evident, so undeniably real…The King of Glory is nearing His second coming to Earth, to Israel, to be exact. That very fact, because the Word of God says so, is in itself, exciting to those who are His’…but worrisome to those who refuse to accept Messiah Jesus as Lord and Savior in their lives. The good news is there is still time…but time is running out to accept Him.
In the meantime, there is so much frightening and disturbing news that is crippling many believers with fear. I am guilty of that, I’ll be first to admit. But I have hope in the Lord who has given us the spirit of love and sound mind and NOT a spirit of fear. In my humanity, I feel afraid at times but not all the time. And That’s ME! That may not be you, rhetorically speaking, so no pun intended here. I ask the Lord to help me overcome my fears and I believe He does because he loves me and He is willing and fully able to do so.
I have felt the grip of fear over me because of all that’s been going on, wondering when are things ever going to be back to normal. But what I’ve to come to realize is that things may never return to normal but that a new day…., a new season… has come for the Body of Messiah Yeshua to step up and take our territory that Satan, our enemy, has invaded and perpetrated to his pleasure. Historically, The Lord, or the Angel of the Lord as – typically versed in Holy Scriptures – has encountered men and women with the command “Do Not Fear” or some translations would say” Fear Not” because it is typical for us to fear.

Fear is normal but it is also dangerous ground to allow Satan to sneak in and cause havoc to him or her who professes as a Christian. We all have fears and some should admit that they have fears. I’m not saying that we should live in fear or make our confessions in fear but simply admit that we are fearful at times and need Holy Spirit to help us overcome and walk in love. The Father, Yeshua, and Holy Spirit desires for us, as believers, to walk confidently in love. That is what pleases ( Them ). The moment we start doing that, then fear will be uprooted from our minds and, most importantly, from our hearts.
Walking the Christian faith is doable, and Holy Spirit is available to enable us at each step we take. He is the Gentle Spirit…a Gentleman who came to us after Messiah Yeshua left for Heaven, to sit at the right hand of His Father. We are never alone…He promised that he would never leave us nor forsake us. His word is truth and I often remind myself about this reality.
As guilty as I am for fearing in my troubles or trials, I am often reminded that He loves me. I am ashamed of my weaknesses and my imperfections but I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He’s “still working on me…to make me what I ought to be” . In Him, only, am I made perfect and strong because of His awesome Love and Grace toward me. I take comfort and hope in His Truth and I am secure and unafraid. The Word of God, through music and literature that supports sound doctrine, help me ground myself ‘unafraid’ in the Lord.
Again, just as it was in the old days, I hunger for the passion that I once had to search the heart of God. Fasting and praying and studying God’s word was such a big part of my early youth and adult life. I desire to boldly walk in His ways and live faithfully and consistently in His words, even if it’s always a battle against ‘my fleshly nature’. But, I’m asking Holy Spirit to help me to do better at that, because after all, He is The Helper we all need so desperately.
Are you, too, struggling today with fear and uncertainty of what tomorrow may look like? You are not alone! We must continue to call to Him for help and strength…He will help us. He wants nothing more than to hold our hands and help us up. We, in our own capacity and strength and wisdom, are not strong enough. We are not superman but He is bigger and more powerful than any superman…ever! That’s the good news I share today.
We need the person of Holy Spirit as we walk the Christian walk…daily, moment by moment, hour by hour and he will help us to “not be afraid”. He’s got our back, our sides, our fronts. He’s all around us…and we ARE safe in Him. ALLELU YAH, AMEN!!!!
Let Holy Spirit fill your hearts and mind and allow Him to remove your fears away. May He lift you up and fill you up with Joy and Hope…and most of all Peace!!!
GOD bless you all, man and woman of the Most High God.
Blessings,
Wane Daroux
