Challenging times? Of course! Didn’t our Lord Jesus say we would have “perilous times” in these last days? “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come…” 2 Timothy 3:1, NKJV

We are living in those times. Pandemics, tumultuous financial conditions, earthquakes, droughts…with fear proving faith is little to be found, even among professing Christians.

I encourage you with these 21 messages of hope, faith, and love. As you read, know that we will stand strong, because we are keeping our eyes on the One Who created us. Because He has been Faithful, is Faithful, and will continue to be Faithful, our faith in Him can stand strong against the tests of times. And there will be tests along the road.

Don’t be caught unexpected. Prepare your heart and spirit to know the truth, walk in faith, and be the light in this world that you and I have been called to be.

DEDICATION

There have been many in the past that I grew up believing in, looking up to, and wanting to follow in their footsteps as a young kid growing up near the cornfields and hog farms of Iowa, in the Midwest section of America.

They were primarily historical figures – Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States; David Livingstone (1813-1873), the famous missionary to Africa, which Wikipedia writes, “…was a Scottish physician, Congregationalist, and pioneer Christian missionary with the London Missionary Society, an explorer in Africa, and one of the most popular British heroes of the late 19th-century Victorian era.”

Then of course the one made even more famous after the movie, “Chariots of Fire” (1981) of Eric Liddell, telling the fact-based story of two athletes in the 1924 Olympics: Eric Liddell, a devout Scottish Christian who runs for the glory of God, and Harold Abrahams, an English Jew who runs to overcome prejudice.

I would also include Harriet Tubman, Mother Theresa, Saint Francis, and Saint Martin – all who lived godly lives for the sake of the Lord Jesus Christ. To all these, I give thanks and dedicate this book.

Above all, I give the most thanks and praise to my Lord Jesus, Yeshua HaMashiach, Who alone sits on the heavenly throne, enabling us to travel the road He sets before us, endowed with His grace, mercy, courage, and strength. Because of Him, we can make it to the end.

Stay on His road and travel on.

To be released in about a week!
