There are two Scriptures that have always stuck out to me as I think about spiritual warfare:
“Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.” (Ephesians 6:12 TPT)
“…In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
These verses point to the truth that we are in a battle, but through Christ we are not defeated. If you are a Believer and are walking with the Lord, the darkness of this world does not like the light you carry.
Christians tend to have one of two beliefs when it comes to spiritual warfare…
