London bridge…is still standing. At least it looked as so from the air.

Feb. 11, 2020 London, England (UK, Great Britain)

Greetings from London, as I crossed the Atlantic on the way to India for 10 days. With the plane not full, I had a short row to myself, so I certainly made good use of it.

Planes lined up at an Heathrow-London concourse.

It was enjoyable watching a full-length documentary on the several renditions of “Fiddler on the Roof” movie, including the 2018 version in Yiddish. I believe that is a German/Hebrew mixture. Being my good wife Laura Jean Unzicker Martin was in her LaSalle-Peru High School production, which I saw her perform in her senior year (I had to wait until she turned 18 to marry her a few months later in 1977!), I have always enjoyed Tevye. A good father seeking the best for his family – his wife and 5 daughters. Someday the Lord may smite him with wealth! (“Fiddler, Part II” maybe!)

The American version of Fiddler is the one I am most familiar with.

Stay tuned! Just getting started!!!
