You shall observe a sacred occasion: you shall not work at your occupations. You shall observe it as a day when the shofar is sounded
Numbers 29:1 (The Israel Bible™)

Today is the second day of Rosh Hashanah. The central ritual of Rosh Hashanah is the sounding of the ram’s horn shofar. The shofar is traditionally sounded 100 times over the two day festival. We eat apples and honey as an omen for a sweet, new year. Everyone from children, to the elderly, and even IDF soldiers enjoy this sweet tradition. Home for the Holidays LEARN MORE
