Last week, as a wildfire approached the community of Mevo Modiim the residents managed to flee in just minutes. Miraculously, not a single person was hurt as the fire engulfed and destroyed the town. The residents of Mevo Modiim have been displaced and are currently living in a vacant high school dormitory. While they will eventually need to rebuild their homes, they are currently focused on surviving the coming weeks and months. Our emergency campaign is collecting money to help the residents of Mevo Modiim purchase essential items which they need immediately such as clothing and medication. This devastated group needs our help today, and will continue to need our help as they begin to rebuild.
