Whether called as intercessors or leaders exercising a prophetic intercessory function, unsung heroes share certain distinguishing characteristics. They include choosing the “better portion,” consistently operating in the supernatural, and observing reality with a perspective gleaned from knowing Him and His ways. They exhibit a predisposition that reaches for God’s heart and serve as keepers of the “mysteries” and keys of the Kingdom, who have been granted access to the secret counsel of God.
