Prophetic Restoration of the Land
Similar to many of the other prophets in the Torah (Bible), Amos begins his prophecies with visions of punishment befalling the Jewish people. The prophecy ends however, with an eternal message of hope. Amos prophecies that the day will come that the children of Israel will return to their ancestral homeland, build houses, plant vineyards and trees, and enjoy their fruits.
