On this 99th birthday of Billy Graham, I was able to visit his boyhood home (relocated) and the Billy Graham Library here in Charlotte, North Carolina. Below are some photos from this time on the grounds, just 15 miles from our home in Pineville, North Carolina.
This Graham dairy farmhouse originally was located on Park Road South in what is now central Charlotte, relocated by Jim Bakker to Heritage USA in Fort Mill, South Carolina in the mid-1980’s, and then moved again, brick by brick, to this current location off Billy Graham Parkway, near the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in west Charlotte.
It is a beautiful site, with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, headed by Billy’s son Franklin Graham, next door.
Billy’s wife Ruth Graham was buried here in 2007, and now also the location of the gravesites for the long associated team members, George Beverly Shea and Cliff Barrows.
