4 days to go…

Oct. 26, 2017
Greetings friends of Love For His People.
Four more days and my “retirement” from secular employment will come to an end. With over 50 years of working, beginning at age 11 with my Waterloo Courier paper route in Cedar Falls, Iowa, to now turning 63 in three weeks on Thanksgiving Day here in the USA, the time has come to end this long season in my life.
Just four more days to go.
While others continue to stay on in their employment positions until 65 or 66, I chose to retire now from my Accountant’s job – to give that weekly time consumed with more than 50 hours, to fully concentrate on our ministry, Love For His People, founded in April 2010.
Our Lord Jesus, Yeshua HaMashiach, has carried the ministry through thus far, and being well into our 8th year of blessing Israel and others who support the Chosen people in their Promised Land, priorities and timing are now for this next level of service in His Body.

Here is a bit of what has been happening.

Our first international office of the ministry is being established in Lahore, Pakistan, with Love For His People – Pakistan Director Moses Julius.
Moses has also been the Chairman of Shalom Today Ministry these past five years. They have established sewing and beauty schools, giving valuable training to girls and women, leading to a pathway to provide income for their Christian families within a Muslim dominated nation.

Pastor Abel Oyewale is now in the infant stage of setting up in Nigeria our Love For His People – Nigeria. He has now been sharing his teaching messages on the ministry blog for several months now, which are being read by hundreds across the nations.
His most recent teaching (click here): GOD LOVED ISRAEL – Part 2
We are thankful for his teaching gift. (I like the t-shirt he is wearing, which we sent in the Pastor’s Package a few weeks ago, with IDF – Israel Defense Forces – branch patches.)
In the coming months, we also are planning on releasing books by other authors, such as Hadassah from Jerusalem. She has been sharing messages from Y’Israel with you our friends. Her messages continually top the list of articles read by you, as she provides good, Scriptural words from the Messianic Jewish perspective.
Here is her latest word, in case you missed it!
Lifting up the Name of Jesus, Yeshua, and standing strong in support of the Jewish people and Land of Israel, our social media, book publishing, and providing humanitarian aid along with teaching materials for international pastors is growing. The time has come for advancement.
And so…as I count down the days of one era ending…I am extremely hopeful for this next one!
Ahava and shalom,
Steve Martin
