Today’s Israel Inspiration

In recent years, more and more ultra Orthodox Israelis have gained inspiration from today’s verse and have volunteered to serve in the IDF. The LIBI Fund provides support for these Biblical warriors who are “Guarding the Nation, Guarding the Torah” while making sure their unique religious needs are met. With the joyous holiday of Passover coming up, our religious soldiers must sacrifice family and holiday celebrations in order to defend the Land they love. But we know that they deserve an amazing Passover experience, just as they would receive at home.

This Is David’s Sling, Israel’s Next Level of Defense

The next-level air defense system will intercept large-caliber rockets and short-range ballistic missiles fired at Israel from enemy countries like Iran and Syria.  Operational in two weeks, it’ll add another layer of protection to the Jewish State!

LIBI Programs Encourage Lone IDF Soldiers to Stay in Israel Post-Service

“Just as lone soldiers feel dedicated to protecting Israel, LIBI USA feels dedicated to helping these brave men and women succeed at their goals!”

Arranging the Seder Plate

The Seder Plate is the focal point of the proceedings on the first two nights of Passover. Whether it is an ornate silver dish or something more humble, the Seder Plate holds the ceremonial foods eaten during the Passover meal; matzah, shankbone, egg, bitter herbs, charoset paste and karpas vegetable. Preparing all of these ritual foods can take some time, so it is recommended to begin the preparations a day or two before the holiday begins. Each of the foods on the Seder Plate also has a deeper, spiritual significance. Watch this video to learn the meaning behind the foods which appear on the Seder Plate.

Hi Rabbi, You are welcome. The survivors are very much in my thoughts and prayers today.I am enjoying your daily reading book and finding it helpful. We are friends of Nathan Moskowitz whose parents are Leib and Gittel Moskowitz. You have probably heard of the book written by Nathan  telling their story in the’Kuzmino Chronicles’.I am a Bible illustrator as is Nathan.Although I am not Jewish I love Israel and the Jewish people.Thank you for helping us keep informed on these vitally important issues.
Very best wishes, Graham
