Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who has made nothing lacking in His world, and created in it goodly creatures and goodly trees to give mankind pleasure.
During the entire Hebrew month of Nissan there is a special mitzvah, commandment, to make a blessing upon seeing the blossoming of fruit trees. As it is the start of spring and the trees have been bare all winter, we are instructed to recite this blessing of praise expressing our awe and admiration for the renewal of life in nature. Celebrate the season of renewal by planting a tree in Israel.
In a recent cabinet meeting, Netanyahu pointed out that the Golan is Israel’s ancient heritage, calling it an “integral part of the Land of Israel in ancient times.”
The Rimon (Hebrew for pomegranate) Necklace is a blue and green Roman Glass ensconced in a beautiful Sterling Silver pomegranate.
