From today’s verse we can appreciate the greatness of our leader Moses. From the luxurious palace of Pharoah, Moses goes out, unbidden, to share in the burdens of his brethren. Seeing the tragedy of the Jewish enslavement sets in motion the events that lead up to the eventual Exodus. As Passover draws near, we strive to emulate Moses’ infinite compassion by providing holiday needs for those who struggle to prepare for themselves. Colel Chabad is Israel’s oldest charity organization that provides these holiday esentials for widows and orphans in particular.
Shalom, Dear friend, I continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel. I know that tough times are ahead, but be assured my love for the Jewish people has not diminished although it appears that much of the world is against you but your G_d and my God who are the same YWHW will not desert His chosen ones and in the final analysis it will be His battle and not ours so we need not fear. May YHWH richly bless you, Frederick Henry McMaster
